After every (miserably cold) Chicago winter and almost always cold spring, I slowly fall back in love with this beautiful city. Summertime in Chicago is arguably one of the best ways to spend June through September. Between street and musical festivals or something as relaxing as a Tuesday night movie in Millennium Park, it really doesn’t get much better.
My friends and I are always looking for different activities around the city. I mean, you’d be crazy to not take advantage of the three months of warm weather we get (if we’re lucky). This past week, we all got together and saw Almost Famous with hundreds of other movie-goers in Millennium Park.
Most of my friends make fun of me for this, but I love love love planning things. The best part of my movie in the park planning? Picking up some sweet treats from my blogging friend, Caitlin, over at Public Lives Secret Recipes. I’m obsessed with almost anything sweet, so I knew whatever Caitlin surprised me with would be delicious, Hello #Krispops!
These delicious rice krispie pops were cake batter flavored and were absolutely wonderful. I’ve already planned to order these for a friend’s bridal shower (shh!) and these for a company outing in August.
How cute are my new Jacks Rogers’ jelly flip flops? I’m 100% guilty of buying them in both black and gold, I mean how could you not want multiple pairs?
